Toronto Deaf Seniors' Centre

We believe that isolation of deaf seniors can be prevented by ensuring a unique environment which promotes and preserves deaf culture and heritage. Where deaf seniors can come together for recreation, education, cultural, social and creative opportunities. Independence and personal fulfillment are achieved through participation.

Our Objectives Are:
  • To provide a community setting which is accessible to deaf seniors

  • To provide opportunities for social interaction

  • To link deaf seniors of Ontario with the larger deaf community

    No application Process

    Criteria for Membership:
  • Member: Deaf, Hard of Hearing or Deafened, over the age of 50

  • Associate Member: Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Deafened, or Hearing and 35 years old or more.

  • Subscriber: Anyone




  • Fees:
  • Member/Subscriber $40.50

  • Member: $18.50

  • Associate Member: $24

  • Canadian Subscriber: $24/year

  • Outside Subscriber: $29.50/year (USA, etc.)


  • Membership Status:
    1. Members are entitled to TDSC discounts, have voting privileges and can be elected to the TDSC committee
    2. Associate Members are entitled to TDSC discounts only
    3. Subscribers receive the newsletter only

    Members are entitled to:
    1. Gift Gallery discounts (TDSC Discount Tuesday) on purchases of $5 or more. (TTC tickets and postage stamps not included)
    2. Special rates for some trips, and seating priority will be given to members
    3. Discounts on transportation services
    4. Special rates for activities ie. Euchre, Bingo, Picnics and Special Dinners
