ASSOCIATIONS FOR THE DEAF

The Bob Rumball Associations for the Deaf provides a variety of care and support to deaf children and adults with a variety of needs including troubled youth, developmental disability, and Deaf plus individuals, youth and adults with behavioral, emotional or psychiatric problems, young offenders and dually diagnosed individuals.

Full-Time and Part-Time Residential Counsellor and Team Leaders
The Residential Counsellor will provide individuals in our care with opportunities to increase their level of independence in skill areas such as communication, daily living, social, and community awareness based on each individual’s Personal Life Plan. This also includes providing support for the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of each individual, as well as providing a safe, home-like environment. click here to submit resume

 

Full-Time & Part-Time Day Program/Recreational Counsellor
The Day Program/Recreational Counsellor will assist individuals to increase their level of independence in skill areas such as basic literacy, communication, social and vocational skills, and community awareness and involvement. The Day Program/Recreational Counsellor will also accompany clients on outings and provide meaningful day time activities. click here to submit resume

 

Full-Time & Part-Time Overnight Counsellor
The Overnight Counsellor will provide a safe, home-like environment, ensuring that the individuals are asleep during the night and providing assistance if difficulties arise. Provides a range of clinical services, service coordination, advocacy, and consultation as an active member of a team utilizing an individualized, strengths-based, flexible, Wrap informed process.
