There’s no place like Deaf Camp. Join us in the north for the summer of a lifetime!

For over 60 years, the Bob Rumball Camp of the Deaf has been a haven where Deaf youth can fully embrace the magic of summer camp. Nestled in the breathtaking Parry Sound District, this hidden gem boasts two lakes, hundreds of acres of wilderness, and endless adventure. It has to be seen to be believed!

Rev. Bob Rumball and the Ontario Mission of the Deaf envisioned a place where Deaf children could experience the joys of camp without barriers—a space that was truly their own, where they could grow, lead, and connect in a language-rich environment.

Today, Deaf Camp is more than a summer getaway—it’s a thriving community. We welcome Deaf and hard-of-hearing youth, as well as hearing campers eager to learn sign language and immerse themselves in Deaf culture. Campers take on exciting activities like swimming, canoeing, waterskiing, Tarzan rope swinging, stand-up paddleboarding, crafts, baking, woodworking, hiking, and hilarious campfire skits. And that’s just the beginning!

At Deaf Camp, you’ll find:
✔ A place that feels like home from the moment you arrive
✔ Friendships and memories that last a lifetime
✔ A path from camper to staff, where you can give back to the next generation
✔ A world where you are understood—fully and completely
