The Bob Rumball Canadian Centre of Excellence for the Deaf (BRCCED) provides services and a place for Deaf people that recognizes their community, culture and language – sign language. Our services offer a variety of opportunities across the lifespan that allows the people we support and serve to flourish in an accessible and language rich environment.
BRCCED has been offering services for over 50 years and continues to grow as our Deaf community informs us of their changing needs. Our services are offered in many areas of Ontario to children, youth and their families; newcomers to Canada; adults with developmental needs; and seniors.
Our programs and services are unique, and offer the access to care, education, and socialization that improves the quality of life for Deaf people.
Mission
To provide care and opportunities in a communication-rich environment that enhances the quality of life of those we serve.
Our Responsibility
Rumball organizations recognize and embrace our responsibility to ensure a welcoming environment to people of differing backgrounds, experiences and values. We encourage dialogue and understanding amongst people who bring their unique views in those who work and receive services at our organization.
