Being our youngest camper group, Junior campers will start their Deaf Camp journey that we hope will last a lifetime. Deaf Camp is a safe and healthy environment where all campers no matter their level of deafness are able to communicate fully and without barriers. A week where they can hang out and be with old friends and definitely make new ones while they have the best experiences summer camp has to offer.
Special week is exactly that…SPECIAL!
It is a program is more relaxed than our junior and senior weeks with more time to enjoy all the activities but with a more vacation feel! Kind of like a resort but at Deaf Camp! This week is geared to all adults who have physical, emotional, developmental or cognitive challenges in addition to being deaf. All campers will be under the care and supervision of experienced and knowledgeable staff – all who share the goal of making this the week Special Campers look forward to throughout the rest of the year!
Campers who require one-to-one support are responsible for providing their own workers. Support workers need to register and pay a fee for accommodations and food. Special housing requests will be filled on a first come first serve basis.
