Introducing PAH! – a beacon of hope in children’s mental health. Located at E.C. Drury School for the Deaf in Milton, Ontario.
In the language of American Sign Language (ASL), PAH! resonates as “Finally!” or “At last!”—a jubilant expression encapsulating the relief and joy felt as we address the mental health needs of children and families within the Deaf and hard of hearing communities.
PAH! extends a warm embrace to all Deaf and hard of hearing children, youth, and families, as well as hearing children of Deaf adults. We embrace every level of hearing loss, any assistive device, and honour every choice of communication.
Our services, offered in-person and virtually, at our office at the Ernest C. Drury School, prioritize confidentiality and family-centered care, where every individual is treated with respect and dignity. Rooted in collaboration and strength-building, PAH! fosters linguistically and culturally accessible services, ensuring inclusivity through communication methods including:

Who does PAH! Serve?
- Deaf and hard of hearing children and youth (ages zero to 18) and their families
- Children and youth (ages zero to 18) of Deaf adults
- Students of Ernest C. Drury School students up to age 21 years

PAH! is a children’s mental health program. We welcome all Deaf and hard of hearing children, youth, and families as well as hearing children of Deaf adults. PAH! was founded in 2000 to provide specialized children’s mental health services for the Deaf and hard of hearing children, youth and their families and children of Deaf adults. Located on the campus of the Ernest C. Drury School for the Deaf.
PAH! provides confidential family-centred care where everyone is treated with respect and dignity. The services we provide are collaborative and strength-based. PAH! services are lingusistically and culturally accessible. To facilitate access and communication, services are provided by/in:
